World Mental Health Day 2020

There is no health without mental health:

In Vedanta Mind is the subtle body. So as a Vedantic tradition we consider the mind is also body. As a responsible person, we do take care of our physical health. We take care of our healthy food habits, healthy living. But very less we consider taking care of our mind or mental health. We are not aware of our mind, our mental health. But it is proven that there is a strong link between mental health and physical health. The mind is not a gross matter. It is subtle. So it is our individual responsibility to accept if we find any changes in our mental health. And most importantly it is a great responsibility to be very kind and acceptable for any of our friends or family member if we see any changes in behavior or they acknowledge their mental trouble with us. Mental Health Care should be the first priority than physical health care. Each and every human being deserves a perfectly healthy mind and body. This is our right and we should not allow any stigma or social isolation for this very rights.

Most importantly for there are a lot of mental health practitioners around the world. Do not go for self-guide but reach out to a practitioner because you deserve your well being. If you want to be more aware of and reach out to a mental health care practitioner, here is the website link of the 'World Federation of Mental Health.'
